SKINFACE is a gruesome upcoming horror-thriller where you become a faceless hitman with a special skill: stealing people’s faces.
Like a shorter and much more horrible version Hitman it’s developed by Adam Pype (SPOOKWARE, No Players Online) and Ties Groen (Town to City, No Players Online), they just revealed a new trailer after an older itch.io prototype blew up. The full game launches sometime late 2026 on Steam.
You will be tasked with attacking strangers, peeling off their facial features, and building a skinmask that’ll win your target’s trust. Once you’re inside, then it’s game over for your target. You get to explore brutalist soviet-era landscapes, use stealth to avoid police patrols, and brace yourself for a delirious nightmare of escalating violence.
See the trailer below:
- Embody a faceless hitman!
- Mix and match face parts to become your target’s “friend”!
- Decorate the flesh canvas that is your face!
- Explore dark corners of the world to find your prey!
- 2-3 hours playtime, even more for completionists!
They’ll be at Gamescom and a demo is available on Steam that should work fine with Proton on Linux systems.
