As teased in an awesome animated trailer earlier this week, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will continue its obscenely good DLC schedule next week, with the addition of Rick Strowd from 23rd July.
The full Season 3 lineup, which includes two mystery characters, is as follows:

This means the game will continue its schedule of adding one new character per month in 2026 – a frankly unprecedented cadence for the genre.
Original Story: Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ insane DLC cadence looks set to continue now Season 2 is complete, with a new animated trailer teasing at least four more characters.
The video hints at Rick Strowd, Laocorn Gaudeamus, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan – two of which have already been hinted at in various other videos.
SNK has been adding a character a month to this remarkably well-supported brawler, and it looks poised to continue that commitment through the remainder of 2026, which is unprecedented really.
I’d also add that the anime-style trailer itself is really cool , if you’ve ever been a fan of SNK games or Fatal Fury in general, I’d definitely consider giving it a watch.
At the pace the legendary Japanese dev is moving, I’d expect Season 3 to be officially announced in the coming weeks – but what are your thoughts on the lineup so far?
