SEGA has officially unveiled the third location you’ll be visiting in Crazy Taxi: World Tour, and it’s one that comes as no real surprise.
Japan is set to feature in the arcade driving game, and you get a decent look at it in this new trailer:
Japan joins Germany and the original San Francisco-based map, with two more global spots still to be revealed.
It looks like this map is largely based around Tokyo, which makes a lot of sense. Shibuya Crossing, a large SEGA arcade, historical buildings, Mount Fuji, street racers — it looks like a fun interpretation.
This always felt like a lock for World Tour given it’s home to SEGA and the core development team.
As mentioned, there are still two more locations to be announced. I think a UK-based one centring on London is likely, but another one is harder to guess. I could maybe see Paris, or New Dehli, or Sydney — anywhere with distinctive architecture and landmarks is a strong candidate.
