Following the announcement of Metroid Ravenous during today’s Direct showcase, Nintendo has now revealed the box art and price for the upcoming game.
Starting with the digital price, Ravenous will be £49.99 / $59.99 for the digital versions, putting this on par with Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Another pleasant surprise then!
The physical edition will be a bit more expensive at $69.99 – again, the same as the Zelda remake.
Ravenous is also getting a special edition complete with extra goodies like a SteelBook and an amiibo, so we’ll provide more information on this very soon. [Update: It’s listed for $119.99 on Nintendo of America’s site, but it’s also “Sold out” at the time of writing.]

Pretty cool, huh? Samus looks proper aggressive, which is no doubt a direct link to the feeding mechanic that will take centre stage in the game. Ravenous is scheduled to launch on 28th January 2027.
