Alright, buckle up for the main show!

The first reveal? It’s a Hoyoverse game, but a dark looking one: Nodus Fall

Oh hey, no surprise that Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail studio Hoyoverse is here but the tone is suprising. Nodus Fall looks distinctly Elden Ring-like, definitely not the sleek glossy stuff we’re used to from them. Maybe I’ll play a Hoyo game again, huh? Lincoln says it looks like “someone put Elden Ring’s clothes on Monster Hunter.”

Rainbow Six Tactics launches in 2027

Operator-based FPS series Rainbow Six is going tactical and singleplayer where you’ll “lead a squad of operators around the world combining careful planning and tactical decision making.”

Gears of War E-Day gets an emotional trailer

Gears of War E-Day is coming out on October 6 this year with that series prequel. Our own Morgan Park got to play two missions of E-Day which you can read his thoughts on.

The “anime GTA” looking Ananta shows off more gameplay and a release date

So that game we all keep calling “anime GTA” is still looking very much like that, but with a double dose of silly on top of the crime action and car stuff. You play as, uh, the “yeet Master”? Did I hear that right? You’ll hunt down legendary weapons in two cities when it launches free to play on January 15, 2027.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy also coming soon

Resonance is so close that this is its launch trailer we’re looking at.

Crimson Desert announces an Enhanced Edition

We were quite into Crimson Desert earlier this year and now it’s announced an “enhanced edition” with new voiceover and “new story moments.”

Sea of Remnants has a rockin’ trailer

Here’s the announcement for Sea of Remnants which is “a free-to-play ocean-fantasy RPG featuring open-world exploration and dynamic turn-based combat.” It’s starting closed beta tests in December this year but honstly I was just listening to the soundtrack.

Tides of Annihilation story trailer

The Soulslike-looking sci-fi Arthurian legend action game turned up as teased with a story trailer explaining the dark fog tearing Avalon apart and how you’ve got to control it with a super cool sword, obviously.

Lofsong

Next up is the reveal for a quiet, pretty looking adventure called Lofsong, which its creative director says is “where sound is the only language left.” Also, if you ask me, sand-surfing is always a win.

Exodus release date in April 2027

Here’s a new trailer for the sci-fi action game Exodus that, yup, still looks very Mass Effect-y! Our Andrea Shearon has more thoughts on Exodus that you can check out for more details. It’s coming April 7, 2027.

Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons has a gameplay reveal

This upcoming D&D game is all about warlock lore. There’s a few minutes of gameplay to check out here with some platform-y puzzling, magical traversal, and a flying, talking sidekick. You’ve gotta have one of those.

1001 Threads of Mizan announcement

This is a gameplay reveal for a co-op action adventure full of folklore and giant enemy jinn. Hey, and is that more sand surfing I see?

Metro 2039 gameplay

Metro’s Ukranian developers 4A Games got on stage to talk about creating a game about the consequences of war rather than preventing it as Metro had been about in the past. It’s about “the cost of silence and the horror of tyranny,” they say. It’s coming in February.

Snoop Dogg is also in…Hitman?

Well we already knew Snoop is going to appear in upcoming Stranger Than Heaven, so why not turn up in Hitman too?

Paradox’s next strategy game is post-apocalyptic Afterworld

Our strategy head Fraser Brown has a lot to share about his first thoughts on Afterworld and will be sharing his time getting to play it pretty soon too so keep an eye out for that!

Petit Planet launches this winter

This is the Hoyoverse game I knew to expect: it’s Animal Crossing-like cozy life sim game coming this winter. There’s going to be cooking, farming, and cute animal neighbors to meet. Yup, that’s Crossing-like!

Showa American Story

This looks like a real trip of an action brawler type thing that I definitely want to go on.

Gravhounds

A co-op action game coming from former Halo and Battlefield devs. Early access and a playtest are both coming this year.

A LEGO city-builder? It just makes sense.

Of course the Cities Skylines developers are doing a city builder with Lego, that seems pretty rad.

Exterminauts

This one is a co-op alien extermination shooter for you and your pals.

Path of Exile 2 launches into 1.0 at last on December 11

It’s finally happening: PoE is hitting the big 1.0. Our ARPG-liker Tyler Colp has more to say about the 1.0 reveal including how it’s a pretty big deal to get swords as a new weapon type for all players

Here’s another trailer trio: Cinder City, Ontos, and Pony Island 2

They’ll punk anything these days, even zoos

This one is “dieselpunk” but it’s called “zoopunk” in which you play as a rabbit, rhino, and a chipmunk. Aside from the rhino, that’s just “backyard punk” animals if you ask me.

There Are No Ghosts At The Grand

Because you cleaned them all up in this silly spooky renovation game coming to early access in December.

Roco Kingdom reveal

Creature catchers were never out, but they’re super in again in the post-Palworld world, it turns out. This one’s an open world, multiplayer RPG with a closed beta test coming in October.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation big weapons trailer

FF7 Revelation’s director took the stage to talk about the massive Weapons that Cloud and co. will be fighting in the final part of the FF7 remake trilogy.

Here it is, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past teaser trailer

For the new expansion back in Geralt’s boots he’s headed to a new map region with new monsters and a cool new weapon. You can spot him doing a sick chain whipping bit towards the end of that trailer. CDPR sent out its level design lead to talk about creating one last new story in The Witcher 3 with some veterans from the original game’s development.
