Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days doesn’t officially begin until October 6, but we’re already seeing some early discounts ahead of the two-day event, including a £50 saving on one of Corsair’s more relaxed gaming chairs.
The Corsair TC100 RELAXED Gaming Chair is currently £149.99 at Amazon UK, down from £199.99. That’s a 25% discount before the main Prime Big Deal Days sale has even started, making this one worth a look if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your gaming setup.
The TC100 RELAXED is a little different from some of the more aggressively shaped racing-style gaming chairs out there. As the name suggests, Corsair has gone for a roomier design, with relaxed bolstering and a 375mm-wide seat that gives you a bit more space to settle in.
It still has the racing-inspired look you’d expect from a gaming chair, but the wider seating and plush contact points are designed to make it easier to lean back and relax rather than keeping you locked into one position.
The chair is upholstered in fabric, too, which should make for a more comfortable surface than some of the faux-leather gaming chairs that can get a little warm after several hours of use.
Corsair also includes both a lumbar pillow and a detachable memory foam neck pillow. The lumbar cushion is adjustable, while the memory foam neck pillow gives you somewhere to rest your head when you’re leaning back between games.
Speaking of which, the TC100 RELAXED can recline, with a backrest range of up to 160 degrees. So whether you’re sitting upright for a competitive match or leaning way back after finally finishing that particularly brutal boss fight, there’s plenty of room to adjust your position.
The seat height is adjustable through a Class 4 gas lift, with 100mm of movement to help you find a comfortable position at your desk.
At £149.99, this isn’t the cheapest gaming chair around, but you’re getting a fairly feature-packed option for £50 less than its usual £199.99 price.
