@idkmyname I’m guessing $40 to $50, with additional stuff sold as DLCs for between $8 and $15 each, if looking at Tropico 6 as a guide.
To add to what @jsty3105 said, not only do you have to manage the economy, but also various factions that increase in each era. Not just internal, but external. For example, you can enact policies that make homes rent free, which makes the communists happy but annoy the capitalists. And if you annoy the capitalists too much, they might try to call up Uncle Sam to spread “Freedom” on your island(s).
Tropico as a series has always had a satirical flavor to it, but the tone and intensity varies from game to game. On a scale from Dr Strangelove to South Park, Tropico 6 is more of the latter, especially with the DLC campaigns and how you can “Borrow” certain World Wonders for your country.
